It’s time to do your taxes
The clock is ticking and the due date it’s the same. Keep in mind these important dates and mark your calendar
March 1 – Last day to contribute to RRSP
March 30 – Last day to file and/or pay GST/HST annual, for corporations and sole-proprietorship
April 30 – Last day to file and/or pay 2016 tax return for individuals. However, since April 30, 2017, is a Sunday, your return will be considered filed on time if we receive it on or it is postmarked on or before May 1, 2017.
June 15 – Filing 2016 tax return for self-employed individuals. Any balance owing must have been paid by April 30, 2016
